Carlo Zanni is an Italian born artist (1975) living between Milan and NY. His artistic practice is focused on the intersection of computation and representation. He paints Landscapes and he programs Portraits.
His work has been showed at the P.S.1 Museum NY, Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago and at the 1st Tirana Biennial, among other Net places. He organized a three days chat based dialogue called "P2P_$: Peer to Peer $elling Processes for net_things" inviting 40 worldwide artists and curators to discuss these subjects online. The second edition "P2P_.edu: Peer to Peer Educationals for Art Dealers" is currently ongoing. Recently his work was showed at Bitforms gallery NY, at the 3rd Biennale de Montreal, Canada and at Analix Forever Geneva. In 2003 he has been commissioned by CCA Glasgow to create a new net project and he will participate in "Open Studio" at the Borusan Center for Culture and Arts - Istanbul, a show curated by and Anne Barlow and Michele Thursz.       more: http://www.zanni.org
